The Rich Color Eyeshadows in the Bobbi Brown Marrakesh Chic Collection Love Ladies in Their 30s, 40s, 50s and Beyond - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Not gonna prevarication, Marrakesh Chic is probably the most excited I've been about a Bobbi Dark-brown release in a while. The new Rich Color Eyeshadows, WHEW! Kind of amazing.

But before we swoop in, let's — beep, beep, beep! — back up a second. Bobbi recently launched this new autumn drove for optics, lips and cheeks at Bobbi Brown counters and also online. The Rich Color Eyeshadows ($24 each), a brand spankin' new line of powder shadows, headline the launch.

I swatched the collection a couple weeks ago; right off the bat, I had a feeling that Bobbi'southward Rich Color Eyeshadows would stone me downwardly to Electric Avenue. And they did. At present, after having worn ii of the viii shades, I'thou itching to take hold of a few more.

It's most similar Bobbi figured out a way to combine Dolce & Gabbana's eyeshadow textures with Becca's sheen finish; the powders wait and feel plumage light on my skin, and I love the subtle hint of shine.

Information technology's funny… When I was younger, I always wanted to clothing makeup that would make me await older, merely now that I'm in my mid-30s, I'm trying to work it the other manner effectually.

The Rich Colors help me do just that. The texture and stop don't spotlight my fine lines, and I feel like the pigment and colors accent my eyes without shouting, "Hey, y'all! Check out my sparkly green bling-bling eyeshadow!" Ultimately, I think these are just very, very forgiving.

Later trying a few unlike eye brushes and as well using my fingers, I institute that a tip that I received from a Bobbi Chocolate-brown makeup creative person a few weeks back at a counter was expressionless on. These eyeshadows deposit more paint when practical with an eyeshadow sponge applicator than they do when applied with a brush. And so, later on applying and so, I'll blend out the edges with a fluffy powder brush.

I did that today when applying Rich Kashmir (the shimmery chocolate-brown taupe) to my lids and Pink Silk (a light babe pink) into my crease; the look was easy as pie and only took well-nigh five minutes.

Oh, and when they're used with a proficient heart primer (I like NARS Pro-Prime number), I don't take to worry virtually fading or creasing for a solid 15 hours.

All in all, I recall these Rich Colors are really fabled, and Bobbi did a bang-up task. A petty pricey for a unmarried pan, sure, but at least they're fab.
